Intro to Tread Principles participants are responsible recreationists who want to learn how to explore the outdoors while protecting the places they love, through a course led by Tread Lightly! and supported by Ford Bronco Wild Fund™. This introductory course provides a practical overview of the T.R.E.A.D. Principles, helping participants understand how to travel responsibly, respect other trail users, educate themselves before heading out, avoid sensitive areas, and do their part to preserve public land, empowering them to recreate thoughtfully and support sustainable access for future generations.
